SUR LES QUAIS is a gourmet fine food brand founded by people who have a passion for travel and beautiful, delicious food. It all began in 1999 in Paris, world capital of gastronomy and veritable culinary crossroads.
SUR LES QUAIS fine food store was set up by Paul Vautrin, who is passionate about good food. It was the first of its kind bringing together rare and precious fine foods under one roof, products that were impossible to find in France.
Since it opened, it has always sold a selection of olive oils on tap in authentic bottles and the most exceptional fresh products from the finest cuisines around the world. Food-lovers travel right across Paris to sample the olive pastes (tapenades)!
In 2015, François Bergé meets Paul Vautrin and driven by the same values and desire to be a part of the gourmet adventure, he joins SUR LES QUAIS.
Today our two stores in Paris still offer a unique selection of oils, spices and other exceptional fine foods. They have become real taste 'laboratories' for restaurant owners and foodies in search of delicious and healthy products.
