Pink berries or pink peppercorns are less pungent than a pepper. They add a sweet flavor to salads, beets or fish sauces. These pink peppers are also perfect with fresh goat cheese or pan-fried green vegetables.

Native to Brazil, these pink peppers grow on a tree sometimes called the "false pepper" tree. In fact, pink berries are not part of the piper negrum family, so they are not a pepper!

Use them raw to preserve all their power and their fresh and lemony flavor.
