Organic IGP Menton Lemons Preserved in Olive Oil

Menton lemon is a must-have for enhancing tagines, poultry dishes, marinades, and fish recipes.

Contains: Organic IGP Menton lemons (200g), organic olive oil, Guérande sea salt

Net weight: 310g

Menton lemon has held Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status since 2015. Grown in France using organic methods, this rare lemon is known for its milder taste and intensely aromatic flavor.

Its scarcity is due to its limited cultivation, which was revived in the 1980s. The mountainous terrain around Menton makes intensive, industrial agriculture impossible and rules out mechanization — a key factor in preserving its unique gourmet quality.

This is a “four-season” lemon, with abundant flowering in spring, a second bloom in summer, and another strong flowering in autumn — unlike the more common Meyer lemon.
